This Cookie Policy explains how the Pilsmaatje website (pilsmaatje.nl) uses cookies and similar technologies, and what the Pilsmaatje mobile apps store on your device.
This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
2. This website sets no cookies
We do not set any cookies on this website. Not for analytics, not for advertising, and not for functionality. There is nothing to consent to, which is why you will not see a cookie banner here.
Every asset on this site — stylesheet, script, images, fonts — is served from our own server. We embed no third-party scripts, no web fonts from external providers, no analytics service, and no social media widgets, so no third party can set a cookie through us either.
Our web server keeps standard, short-lived access logs (including IP address) for security and abuse prevention. These are not cookies and are not used to build a profile of you.
3. The mobile apps do not use cookies
The Pilsmaatje apps for iOS and Android are native apps, not websites, and do not use cookies. They do store data locally on your device so the app works quickly and offline:

This data stays on your device, is not a cookie, and is not readable by any third party. It is removed when you uninstall the app. What we store on our servers is described in the Privacy Policy.
4. What we do NOT use
For full transparency, on the website and in the apps alike:
- No analytics — no Google Analytics, Hotjar, Mixpanel, or any similar service.
- No advertising — we serve no ads and use no ad tracking or advertising identifiers.
- No social media tracking — we embed no Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, or other social plugins.
- No fingerprinting — we use no browser or device fingerprinting techniques.
- No profiling — we do not build behavioural profiles and we never sell your data.
5. Clearing stored data
- This website: there is nothing to clear, since we store nothing in your browser. You can of course clear site data through your browser settings at any time.
- The apps: logging out clears your session and cached data. Uninstalling the app removes everything it stored on your device. Note that neither deletes your account — for that, see how to delete your account.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy if we ever change how we use cookies or similar technologies. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
